Description

Exports the selected geometry. Similar to AC3D's "Save selection", but performs an export.

Installation

Copy the export_selected.tcl and export_selected.p files to your AC3D plugins folder (for example, if using Windows, C:\Program Files\AC3D\plugin) and (re)start AC3D.

IMPORTANT:

If you would like AC3D to remember the last export format you used, copy the file export_selected_vars.tcl to your AC3D scripts folder (for example, if using Windows, C:\Program Files\AC3D\scripts) and (re)start AC3D.

Usage

Select the "Export selected..." item from the Tools menu. Select an export format from the dropdown list, and specify a filename. Ensure you specify a file extension if you add a file using the "Browse..." button, as one will not always be added for you.

AC3D will remember the last export format you specified only if you installed the export_selected_vars.tcl file to the scripts folder (see Installation section).
